dumb crank answer 140-160

Thanks for the info.
So the AQ 151 and AQ 171 are both based on the B23 and are both 86 mm stroke, the 171 with a larger bore?

Our 2.5 is based on a custom made race crank. Its expensive but full race qualitly.
Some customers wanted it for the street so we changed the bearing, rod and piston dimensions to make it work better in a street engine.

I would like to know how recently discussed Scandanavian 2.5s are being done and what their reliability record is. Its easy to just do it with an offset grind of the crank with a rod that has a much smaller than stock rod journal and than bore out the block too real thin walls. It was done years ago with B16 rods.
But a much small rod journal has to be weaker than stock. So will it hold together
in high performance applications over the long term?

Any info on the stroker engines from your side of the pond?
