Thanks Chris. I kind of crududly removed the shifter by hack sawing the bushing on both sides because the tubes were already broke off. I figured I was going to have trouble with the allen screw working at it from underneath. I will go to "Crappy Tire" and buy a socket allen key instead of using the one that swing out like pocket knife. I'll raise the car and support what you mentioned. Man I didn't think this would be so much trouble.
P.S. Sorry I called it Crappy Tire thats just what we nick nammed it many years ago. It's not so crappy anymore. They're beating everybody with the warranties.
