740 radio output wiring designations? 700

The "rats nest" goes back to a square white plastic plug to the left of the radio behind the ignition key/heater control panel. The plug contains black, green, blue, red and green wires. On the "car side" of the black plug on the radio the black connects to the black on #10, green to green-red #10, red to green-grey #12, grey to blue #8 and green to green-red #8. The yellow-white #6 connects to the free yellow wire. Unfortunately some of the wires change colors when they go thru the plug. On the "radio side" of the plug the black still goes to black #10, red to red #12, blue to grey & yel/black #10, green to grn/brn #8 and grey to green #8. I don't think this could have been made harder if the tried????
