engine quit while driving! HELP 900 1993

I also have a '93 945T. I’ve bought a water pump and timing belt, but haven’t actually installed them (I bought them because of a leaking water pump, but then the leaking stopped). I know I need to actually replace them because they haven’t been replaced in a while, and besides I already have the new parts (sitting in my garage).

Anyway, the prices seem very high, here are the prices for the timing belt, tensioner, and water pump through ipd:

Timing belt: $25
Timing belt tensioner: $43.50

Water pump with seals: $56
http://www.ipdusa.com/ProductsCat.aspx?CategoryID=114&NodeID=601&RootID=629

Keep in mind that ipd isn’t the cheapest place out there either, I'm sure you could save a little more by picking it up elsewhere.

Did you get the price estimates from the dealer, or an independent shop?
