How to find a good rack? 200

Try your local Hooters.

No, seriously, check for mileage if the instrument cluster is still there, and if it's gone look for the general condition of things under the hood. You'll be able to spot the cars with low mileage and that have been well cared for. Of course avoid anything that hints of a leaky rack. Boots in good condition (with the black factory zip ties) are a good sign. Though if they're too new for the car it might mean they were replaced (which might not be such a bad thing either, it might even mean the rack is recently replaced with a new one).
