Another Symptom to add 200 1985

Shielding on the coolant temp sensor wire has flaked off after touching it.

Wire is now completely bare but is registering the proper temperature on dash gage.

What is the sensor just slightly to the right and down from the temp sensor?

I have discovered that if I let it set for about 10 minutes it will start OK.
But if I turn in off and try restarting immediately I get a no-go with the same original results.


Found that if I let it set for about 10 minutes it will start OK.
If I then turn it off and immediately try to restart I get the same original hard start and overly rich symptoms.

I've checked and re-checked all hoses and wire connections.

Shielding on the temp sensor wire has flaked off after disconnecting and re-connecting.
It is now completely bare but is registering the proper temp at dash gage.

Also... It has never ran rich before. Plugs are light colored and very clean.

Btw, what is the sensor just right and down a little from the temp sensor?
