I got confused...are they the RHD type or for LHD?.................nmi 200

Sorry for the confusion. They most definitely ARE LHD lights. The markings on the lenses, as per Daniel Stern's website, confirm this.

The car, when he purchased it, came in RHD for the UK market, but since it is illegal to drive in continental europe with lights intended for RHD markets (technically... I'm sure people do it!) Volvo provided the gentleman a set of RHD-market lights in the trunk, and LHD lights installed for the drive back to the UK from Sweden. These are those lights, the LHD lights that were installed in Sweden when he took delivery.
