whats going on with my instrument panel & brick? 200

I had the same temp problem and I fixed it by cleaning off the 4 probes or small metal projection that come off the temp compensation board on the back of the instument assembly. For this you will have to take out the dash speedometer assembly---not very difficult. This board that I've mentioned has poor or dirty connections and all I did was scrape them off and reinsert the board. The dirt is really solder flux. Clean the 4 metal probes that attach to the board but aslo clean the holes into which they must insert. If you clean them both I think that that problem will go away. If this works --do let me know. I will appreciate it.

Thanks
