How to remove a M47? 200 1991

nick, a step by step is beyond my typing reality, however i just did my wife's 90 a few months ago..some key hang ups are ;disconneting the shifter, from under the car only, you do not need to remove it entirely, drop the tranny mount, disconnect the rear diferential and the mount at the joining of small drive shaft...there is enoudgh room to move the tranny back without dropping the whole thing down to the floor...tricky is the 19mm bolt on top of the bell housing,i bought a 24 inch extension and that made it easy[easier] don't forget the clutch alignment tool..2 dollars at advance auto parts,,,disconnecting the clutch cable is easy with a 24 inch bar clamp if you are doing the throw out bearing, rent a tool to remove the pilot bearing, such crucial link to the drive line,i bought my 89 for a deal because the mechanic told the owner the 5 speed was shot; it was just the pilot bearing seized up.if you don't find a better source than me; email -kriscarlson22447@yahoo
