120 wagon exterior chrome trim removal at base of windows - help 120-130 1966

You're right. I've had the problem with 2 '66 models.
Once I got it painted I installed the rear strips with silicone sealant
and made sure it got all the way around. (wonder what it will be like to
take them off next time....)
btw if you find a source for the springy clips that hold the chrome down
in the rear side windows, I'd sure like to know!
