Volvo History: the Difference between a 122S Wagon vs. P200 Wagon? 120-130

There's a difference between model number and how the cars are badged.

Model 120 = 4-door sedan (saloon to the Brits)
Model 130 = 2-door sedan (sedan to the Brits)
Model 220 = wagon (estate to the Brits)

In most markets, the badging means this:

121 = single carburetor, basic package
122S = dual carburetors, sport package
123GT = rare special edition super sport package (model 130 only)

Volvo did not adopt the 142/4/5 type badging depending on body style until the 140 series.
