fuel dist/ pump pressure test gauge pt 4 200 1985

No, it's not what I use. The gauge must be on the middle leg of a "tee", and one of the side legs must have a manual shut-off valve so you can switch between System and Control pressure.

I'll see if I can find something as a reference.

(later)...
I found this JCWhitney url:

http://www.jcwhitney.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product?storeId=10101&Pr=p_Product.CATENTRY_ID%3A2008126&productId=2008126&langId=-1&catalogId=10101

(if it works)

Here's the text:

FUEL INJECTION TESTER FOR CIS-K-JETRONIC BOSCH SYSTEMS
* Quickly, easily pinpoint problems in control pressure regulator or fuel distributor.
Eliminates guess work! Includes in-line 2-1/2" diam.
gauge,shut-off valve; 6 adapters, hook-up and parts, schematic and
instructions.

But I don't see a shut-off valve in the picture (which is something I *do* have, but it's not what the text says it is???)

Maybe Hardknocks! can check in here. He has the JCW gauge set-up.
