Fuel Distributor Help Needed!!! 200 1985

has anyone ever done a line pressure test? if so, is there a special gauge or do i fabricate one, or what's the best route?

Yes, there is a special gauge set up for Kjet(sometimes called "CIS" in catalogs). It's a 100 psi gauge, hose connected the middle of a "tee", with a shut-off valve in one leg of the tee.

I won't go into the attachement here, since you don't have one yet. And I don't see it in the latest JC Whitney, but they had it a few months ago for about $60. I'd suggest you put up a new post for possible sources.

It measures both Line/System and Control pressure, according to whether the shut-off valve is closed or open. Both pressures are well worth knowing when diagnosing Kjet operation.

Did you check the airflow plate? If it doesn't move, you can have 90psi from the pump, but nothing from the injectors.
Also check out the short Kjet movie link that Art posted at the top. I think it shows that the airflow plate has to move before the injectors "sing".
