Suspension guru's.........Tire wear 900

Hi

I have a 95 960 with 114000km on it. I have a similar problem with inner tyre wear on new tyres (6000km) and wonder if it is the suspension or springs. The car has done relatively low kms but has been idle for some time, and not doing much travel. I am the second owner and still coming to grips with issues related to the car as I have only had it a short period of time. I drive about 200km per day to work and back and it is a great car for distance travel but it does challenge you in the area of diagnostics. I have come to the 960 by way of many 240's.

The engine mounts are fine, at least the wires around them are not taut, I have had the car wheel aligned, the tyres are new, the tie rod (LHS) (I drive on the RHS of the road so this roadside wears first-- Australian from north of Brisbane in Queensland)has been replaced.

I have been looking at spring replacement for the aditional reason that the car rides quite low, but all I can get from Volvo at present is springs are available with rating 1,2 and 3 and they don't yet know what the numbers mean, they would also have to come from Sweden! I would be grateful if anyone could direct me to a site with more information on the front suspension for these cars. (I have looked at the FAQ re suspension on this site but it is not specifically on this problem) I am also looking at shock absorbers and am pricing them at present.
