960 compared to a 740 900 1995

I just went through a similar situation. I purchased a used '87 745 last Christmas with 123K miles. kind of to replace my 245 with 190K miles that I was planning to give to my son. What a difference btw the 245 and 745. However, since I really wanted a 745T or 945T, I kept looking. In Dec I gave up hope of finding a low mileage turbo and started looking for a 965/V90. I'd always hessitated even looking at the white blocks. Long story short...in Jan I purchased a 96 965 with 70K miles. Bottem line is that this is the best car, new or used, I have ever had! Power is great, ride is plush w/o being sloppy and it is a beauty.

I say don't hessitate if you can find one with service records. Note there are a few on Ebay.

Good luck!
