Harness Recommendation 200 1989

The Volvo dealer here recommended and ordered a Hidden-Hitch #31824 POWERLINE SMART POWER CONVERTER. This uses separate power for the trailer lights, and signals from the stop and turn signals on the car just for on-board relay activation. It keeps the bulb failure light off.

I used the existing green wire to the power antenna connector (unused in my 1990 240 sedan) for power, instead of a new dedicated wire from the battery. It tested fine on a 4 x 8 UHaul with the LED lights.
