Instruction for replacing the factory radio with a cd player 200 1990

Okay, it was an easy affair. I have rear speakers, but they aren't connected to anything..... Which leads me to the next question. There are wires behind the back door panel, they have connector clips that fit on the rear speakers. The right side wires are gray and gray & yellow. The wire color pattern doesn't show up at the radio. Maybe the wires got to the amp, and are a different color between the amp and the radio. I would like to utilize the rear speakers..... Where is the amp, and maybe I can figure how to bypass it?

I bout\ght the radio, wiring connector and face plate through Best Buy..... Does Crutchfield have a site of public instruction, or do the instructions only come with products they sell?

Thanks, Ray.
