brake booster failing? 900

The brake pedal in my 940 is awfully hard, at least compared to every other car I drive. At first I thought I was just getting used to the brakes but I'm noticing my foot starts to hurt after a lot of stop and go traffic. The brakes are still strong. I can lock the brakes at any speed I want, but they require a good deal of effort. The only other symptoms I've noticed are sometimes after the car is off for a while, the brakes lose vacuum, and that if I pump the brakes while the car is idling the idle lopes a lot. Any ideas?
