early single circuit disc brakes 120-130

I'm nearly finished with a drum to disc conversion (borrowed from a 122)on my Duett but have run into a few late snags.

The bleeding nipples I puschased from VP don't come close to fitting the Girling (I think) single cicuit calipers. There are two openings, both on the inboard sides of the calipers, identical in size and thread. I assume one is for the brake line, one for the bleeder. One is oriented directly upward, one faces into the center of the car. Then inside facing one is actually higher on the caliper than the up facing one.

Can anyone tell me which is which, and point to a source for bleeders that fit?

Also, anyone have a source that can make up brake lines to order to fit these systems? The stock numbers don't do the job real well...

Many thanks,
longhorizon
