restoration saga...sound deadening success stories wanted 120-130

WHen I did my 66 saloon a number of years ago, I went ot the local wrecking yard and found an old Cadillac. The soundproofing in these babies is better than most new materials. It was a bit thicker but after the stall with the vinyl floor mat it was not noticable. Now that the floormat is going away from detioration, I'm looking at Auto-Mat for carpet. I guess I'm going to deal with a thick cushy floor!!!
