Brick on Fire! Looks like FI harnesses arced together...

If everything is working normal, it looks like the only damage is at the spot you seperated. Take off your tape and make sure all wires are covered and not fused together. Re tape them and stop at you local auto parts, you can pick up the plastic harness cover like most new cars use, this will protect them from scuffing and shorting out in the future. Also check the routing of your wires so they don't burn on something hot or scuff on something under the hood. It looks like you lucked out and got away easy. It should give you no more problems if you follow those steps.
Good luck in the future on your brick.
Dennis
