An understatement .... :-) 200 1985

Well, by luck my '92 245 has the No-Spin diff... what a nice surprise! However - when I still lived in New England and drove on ice and snow, I had to be careful because on a sharp turn the locking action can actually make you lose traction in the rear. The neatest part, though, was when going up a slippery incline, I only needed to plant one rear wheel on a decent-traction surface... No-Spin and good snow tires were a great combination.

I've known for a while that the 240 axle is a Dana 30 also used as a front axle on Jeeps, and have recommended 4x4 shops to many looking for a limited slip diff.
