HELP ON NEW '92 - 740 700 1992

I just bought a 92 - 740 with 142K. Everything is great except 2 things:

1 - The brakes seem to easy and pulsate some when slowing from higher speeds. Is that the rotors or maybe the hubs (the FAQ's led me to think that might be the hubs).

2 - A new rear muffler and pipes (before and after the rear muffler) were recently installed. There is a rattle from the tailpipe but I can't see where it is coming from. Any suggestions?

Otherwise, I am enjoying my 3rd Volvo and my wife is wanting to attend Volvo Anon!
