Problem found...now where to get part? 700

If you have the Mitsu turbo you may be screwed since the CBV is built into the turbo... I have no idea how you would bypass it.

Assuming you have a Garrett turbo the original Pierburg CBV is pretty pricey to get. The accepted replacement is a valve made by Bosch that you will have to kind of fit in place (it doesn't go on that metal plate, but you can ipe tie it to the same spot).

There are two versions of the Bosch CBV: a standard valve and one made for the Porsche 933. The latter is apparently better and just a little more. You can get way more info here:

http://wwwrsphysse.anu.edu.au/~amh110/Technical_pages/blow_off_valve.htm

Go to the following url:

http://www.importeccatalog.com

and enter the part number 0 280 142 108 in the part number search field on the left side of the screen. Importec often has the cheapest prices, and it will arrive in 2 days with standard shipping.
