Oil leak, but from where.... 700

I suspected my oil trap, removed it,replaced it, new seal, and gasket maker. No change!

Replaced the valve cover and filler cap gasket as well.

New distributor orings.

Oil is leaking down the block. The headgasket is fine [i removed the intake manifold, its not coming from the head.

I swapped distributors with a spare. The old one was filled with oil, can it be that oil is coming from inside the distributor housing? My second distributor did not cure this problem! It seems to be pushing ALOT of oil out onto the block on both sides, i suspect this is my culprit.

I assume there is an oring i can't replace easily in the distributor, has anyone ever had this problem, if so, similar results with oil on both sides of the block, leading to a major oil leak?

Dan
