Ideas or References on Shipping an 1800 1800

Joel, thanks for your concern, and my apologies for having "back burnered" VClassics this past year. Actually, I didn't do very well keeping it up the previous year either...

I've been fully busy, and I mean fully, since last March working on Volvo projects: the Amazon resto, the MPPE, and, although it took much less time, bringing the flame 245 out from the east coast, as well as occasionally helping out friends with their projects. And for the past few months, we've been buying and developing a piece of property 200 miles from where we now live, hoping to move there in June.

David, Mark, Lee, Brooks, and our other regular contributors have all been similarly tied up. Maybe being busy is infectious, I dunno.

I'll try to have a new issue going before we move, but I'll just have to see how it goes. Meanwhile, just so I don't get out of touch completely, I've been writing a series of articles for Rolling, and I'm visiting the Brickboard again after an absence of several years.

VClassics will be back, absolutely -- I have a backlog of good material to edit (although more is always welcome), an incredible amount of stuff to write up myself -- it's just a matter of when. Meanwhile, the classifieds are updated regularly, and the events page less regularly. I continue to respond to 95% of the e-mail I get as well.

Thanks for your patience,

--Phil
