Replacing hydraulic lifters for trunk 900 1995

First, don't buy the cheap no-name ones - my new ones only worked for two weeks and are being returned.

The only tools required are a prop-stick (bet you already have one!) and your hands.

Prop the tailgate up and check the ends of the struts. On ours, there was a simple clip that you could push to the side by hand, allowing you to remove the socket from the ball stud screwed into the car. On others, there may be a spring pin you have to unhook and pull out. Do both ends of one side, and install the new strut and secure its clip. Then do the other side.
