Tranny/differential fluid changing... 140-160

NO NO NO NO!!!

Undo the *top* one first!!!

If you undo the drain plug *first* you run the risk of having
an empty transmission and no way to fill it because the top plug
is chewed up and won't come off for anyhing. On a level of
panic, this one rates pretty good.

As far as filling, either go crazy with hoses and pumps and
stuff, or if you're lucky and have a long shifter car, you
can take the shifter off and dump the oil into the transmission
from the comfort of the driver's seat.

Even if you fill from the top of the transmission it is still
a good idea to take the top drain bolt off so you know when it
is full. A friend of mine filled up his transmission to the
top (didn't take the top bolt off just filled it from the inside
of the car till it was full. That transmission was already
tired and it lasted about 30 more miles...
