Time for new tires for the Turbo wagon 900

I live in the Northeast and installed Yokohama v550 16/205/55 @ $98 each about one months ago. They are installed on a early 94 945ti with custom RamV-Air 2.5 inch PVC into the filter box. I just went through the 18 inch snow blizzard last week and the tires handled great. I did use 4 in. by 4 in. by 3ft. pieces of marble over each wheel well in the back. I have used Michelin MXV4 Energy, Dunlop D60A2's and Goodyear. The Michelins are always great. The Dunlops (sorry- but I am sure you know)were a piece of rubber and the Goodyears were ok. I love the V550 tires. They have a reversed V in the tread and the traction is great. I have IPD front and rear 28 mm. sways, and IPD End Links. I have a Cherry Lower strut bar and a cat back 2.5 Walker Super Turbo Muffler. I have noticed the pick up is much better with these tires because they don't break loose like the other tires. They might not last quite as long but after 30K. It's time to replace them anyway.
