anybody know what the correct spark plug for a 85 245 turbo is? 200

I only run NGK plugs on my 240s. I was running some BPR7ES (from IPD) plugs in my sedan, and when I pulled those.. they looked almost perfect if not a little warm. Of course the engine also had overheating issues. Now that I've put the head back on, I used BP6ES (non-resistor, RPR didn't have any BPR6ES plugs in stock) plugs because I had a brain fart and asked for the wrong heat range. Of course I don't expect too much trouble from the plugs, as K-Jetronic doesn't have such a huge need for the resistor plugs, and I cleaned all sorts of carbon off of the piston tops and had the head cleaned up a bit.

I'd say PB7RES is a safe bet, BPR8ES if you're running a modified turbo, and BPR6ES is probably okay if you're sure your engine isn't carboned up and is not running hot. At about $2-$2.50/ea, they're not the cheapest.. but they're cheaper than those joke Splitfire and other various platinum plugs.
