anybody know what the correct spark plug for a 85 245 turbo is? 200

If you haven't done any mods to your car and you live in a not to hot place and get good fuel, use the NGK BP6ES. Which is the stock call out.

If you have done some mods, or drive hard you could try BP7ES, which is colder plug. The number indicates the heat dissipation (with NGK the higher the number the faster the dissipation). It has NOTHING to do with sparking. You need a hot enough plug to prevent crud build up and fouling, but not too hot which encourages preignition (common in the B21FT)

I would not try an 8. Too cold. May foul like a Champion.

What the heck kind of plugs and what # are in there? I can tell you if they are correct. Please explain "white tipped".
