Since you have a high mileage abused tranny you may want to flush with 4 gallons of Walmart dex 3 (super tech- 14us), drive a few hundred miles then spend 40 us on mobil one synth atf and do a final flush (8qts). The system uses pressure to move the fluid through the cooler. Just get someone to run through and stop in each gear 10-15 seconds to flush.
