86 245DL Vacuum Hose Question 200

When I replaced all of the vacuum lines on my 83 Turbo I bought 6' lengths of 1/4", 3/16", and 1/8", for a total of about $6. I had about 2 feet left of the 3/16" (I think) but as cheap as it was I figured better to have too much than spend $2 in gas having to go up and get more! It would make sense to use oil resistant line down to the flame trap but Turbos don't have one so I used all Gates vacuum line. I thought about silicone but the standard hoses lasted 20 years and I doubt I'll ever have to worry about it!
