Did I make a fair offer???? 200

ditto with Chris. The car has visable rust that will only continue to degrade
the body. This is a vehicle that you can easily sink two grand into just to bring it back to par. If you're using it as temporary transportation for a year or two and then plan on dumping it, you will still put at least a grand in it.

I wouldn't give the guy over a $800 for it. Do want a dependable car to drive, or a project. This is a poor choice for a project with the rust. If you just want transportation, $2000 to $3000 will buy you a better volvo requiring much less in labor and parts.

Walk away with a smile :)

Keep looking, use Ebay a price comparision.
