SRS Light on- after cleaning engine... help! 900

That's bizarre. The only thing that I see that has anything to do with the SRS unit, is the battery connection itself. The SRS system is really voltage sensitive. If it tosses a code, it wont' erase.

You might, as steve said, clean the battery terminal connections, and check the SRS related fuses in the car. You never know what's going on with those either. Then try resetting the lamp again. There is almost certainly some relation to the SRS fault and your washing the engine, but it is an unusual correlation.
