removing in tank fuel pump without boot access 700 1988

You will have a real struggle to remove and refit the hose clamps that hold the fuel filler tube and the fuel tank breather tube from the top of the tank.
If you are lucky the filler and breather hose clamps may be oriented to permit you to unscrew them, otherwise you will be stuck.
I'd suggest you work at getting the boot open first and get to them through the access panel in the boot.
