90 16v 745gle leather seats
I must have dual. There is a black relay under both seats that clicks on for about 2 secs when I flip the switch and clicks off. Both seats do this. I assume this is because of the open circuit for the one heat pad. This black 'relay' is also the thermostat too right? My diagnosis very well may be wrong. I tested all this stuff a few months ago and can't remember any of the specifics; wire color exact resistance values, etc.
I think I'll put 12v to the seat pad connector and see if it gets hot. That shoud be an absolute diagnosis.

BTW ipd wants $90/seat for the kit, so I hope my diagnosis is wrong.
