Turbo Boost? 700 1989

I did replace the one from the turbo elbow to the intercooler. The elbow before the intake may need replacing. It looks older but in OK condition. The others appear new. The guy I bought it from complained about an expensive turbo hose. The one from the air filter looks new.

Assuming all hoses are in good working order (after I change what I need to,) what type of boost should I be feeling? A noticable surge or just a normal acceleration?
