Hmm hopefully you'll not need a torch for anything.
I would certainly include a roll of duct tape- as I mentioned yesterday those big intercooler air hoses are crucial to operation. They can be effectively and temporarily repaired with duct tape if any have a leak (and they're fiarly expensive if they do get a hole, so sometimes duct tape is semi-permanent).
Bring a spare set of plugs (Bosch Super, WR7DC) and a 13/16 socket for these, along with a 3/8 ratchet and short extension. Planning an oil change? Include a filter, filter wrench, and 1-inch wrench for the drain plug, plus the copper washer (10088) for the drain plug. I'd pick up a gallon of antifreeze and a qt of ATF just in case as well- but get these at a store near there, don't ship them. The manual trans take ATF as well as the auomatics.
Bring a spare fuel pump relay. (3523608) Bring an overdrive relay (3523804). Bring spare fuses, 10A, 15A, 25A blade-types. Bring a tire air gauge and a hand pump if you can. An extra spare tire would be nice, but kinda impractical to ship. Hopefully it's good- check it at a service station before you start the trip back. Also bring some or buy some PB Blaster spray penetrating oil- it's the best and you never know what you might encounter that's STUCK. If it's been parked for a while, bring a pair of wiper blades, they're 20-inch, and that'll prevent scratching the windshield with a crappy one. DAMHIK.
I'd probably throw a random assortment of hose clamps in there too, I've usually gota few rolling around in the bottom of my tool bag. Ya never know.
