More Power of B230F LH - 2.4 700 1989

The 136 hp engine has the VX cam and a little higher compression ratio. About the best you can do short of a turbo conversion is to put in a performance cam, low-restriction exhaust and do the airbox mod to minimize intake restriction.

I put a VX cam and adjustable cam gear in my '92 245 with M47, and a turbo exhaust. It revs more easily now, and throttle response is quite nice. Mileage didn't change at all, however I am concerned about passing the emissions test later this year. It's not a road burner, but... just nice! Together with the suspension mods (sway bars, strut braces, wider tires) it's a nice package.
