fuel additives opinions wanted....

I must say I have not heard of "Redex".

There are some dump in the tank fuel additives that will help if your combustion chambers are lightly deposited or your injectors are just starting to gum up. However, there simply are no 16 oz or less bottle of chemistry that will mix with x gallons of fuel and fire hose and brush clean the combustion chambers during that one tank. Repeating treatments are required. A solvent/cleaner strong enough after dilution to do it in one treatment, is not something I want in my gas tank.

There are some products (including water!) that can be injected via the fuel rail or a vacuum line that will clean the combustion chamber pretty nicely. Typically done at a shop, or there are home methods. Yes the crap will fly when this stuff goes by-by. I wouldn't worry too much about it causing some problem with the new turbine exhaust blades. (Heck you could just keep the wastegate open)
