Cleaned IAC now no start at all

The car should start without the IAC. The base idle should be between 800 to 900 with the IAC closed. You have to keep your foot on the gas when it is cold to keep it running until it warms up (I drove with no IAC for over a year). I suspect your IAC was toast and it was jammed in a position that allowed the car to run. When you cleaned it you probably freed it up so that it is closed fully nand not opening. Try taking the idle motor out and open the aperature manually about half way. then put it back in the car and don't plug the wires in. The car should start if this is the problem. You could also just take it out of the loop and try starting the car (it will idle really fast). When mine was not working I put a clamp on the hose and clamped it down to control the idle. The only problem with this system is cold starting. As I said you have to keep your foot on the gas pedal to keep it from stalling for the first few minutes.
