Interchangeable locks? 700 1985

Hello,

I recently purchased a 1985 740 Turbo. I'm EXTREMELY happy with the car; however, I've found that the power doorlocks tend to be a bit ticky (as in, I can only lock the car from the outside--is that normal? This is my first experience with the 7-series--and the power UN-lock only works sometimes).

So my question is this: can I take the power locks out of my '84 240, which still work flawlessly, and replace the ones in the 740?

While we're at it, the switches for the power windows are ticky as well. (The ones in the 240 work well, but the motors were going.) Is it possible to switch those out?

Thanks,

Volfro
