bigger sway bar-negative effects? new rack bad? 200

I recently put on the ipd sway bars front & back - the smaller mm of the 2 choices - but at the same time the power steering rack went so i couldn't tell the ultimate effects - the new rack and tie-rod ends are in. now the power assist is smooth for most of the turn AFTER the first 10 or so degrees on the steering wheel. When you are back and forth from dead center it feels slightly grabbing and stiff - overall it's not consistent and not like it was. I realize the bars are contributing to some oversteer(i think that's right) and thus the new "feel" but they wouldn't contribute this much to the steering wheel action/resistance. or would they? or is the new rack or the old pump to blame?
anybody else thought of going back to stock sway bars or is that crazy?
and finally, should everything else be up to snuff in the front end b/f adding the performance bars?
