What to substitute for OEM hose on Pre-Pump????

Hola Bricksters:
I am planning to replace both fuel pumps on my 93 245. The main pump is no sweat. However, I have tried to find an OEM hose that connects the in-tank pump to the outlet pipe, but to no avail. What have you all used as substitutes? High pressure fuel hose? Will this last as long as OEM?
I have also read in the FAQ that the wagon's hose(9") is longer than the sedans(2"). Is this true?

Thanks for your help.
