Squish? Quench? 120-130

One thing to keep in mind in all this-
there needs to be a close- fitting ring around the perimeter of the piston when it's at TDC, to force the contents ofn the cylinder into the center of the combustion chamber. I think it's called 'squish'- at any rate, several engine- building books make a big deal of it... especially in regards to detonation and preignition.
So multiple gaskets could cause problems that way, too...
