Hi all,

Thanks for the responses to my coolant problems post. Now I have another question.

I have read in my 940's owners manual that it should take engine oil with a classification of API SG/CD. When at the auto stores I see various oils with markings such as SJ, SF etc. Can anyone tell me what this classification means? Do I have to use this and only this classification? Can I use a synthetic with a different classification?
