Clutch Woes 120-130

I am having an issue with the clutch in the 66 1800S. I have been driving old Volvo's for about ten years now and I have to rebuild or replace the clutch slave cylinder or master cylinder every 12 - 14 months. I have always thought this might be normal, but the more I read from some of you guys the more I think is is abnormal wear and tear. All miles are around town and I drive about 12,000 to 14,000 miles a year. I got the 1800S last January and put a rebuilt master and slave cylinder on the clutch. Thirteen months with no problems and no additional fluid, but yesterday I started useing fluid pretty quickly. The slave cylinder does have a small amount of fluid dripping from the boot so that seems to be the problem this time.

Is there some adjustment that I am missing or is this system design this weak? Any help or advise would be greatly appreciated before I rebuild again......

Oliver
