Tire Size Question!? & first post! 200 1990

Hi! I'm new to Volvo (have owned 3 saabs (2x900-1x9000) & 1 VW golf) and I was wondering if I could fit tire of this size: 195/60r14 , I know they will fit & probably have about 5% difference on the speedometer but will they fit right (no rub/explode because of the weight or whatever), I don't know much about tire & I have 4 new tire of this size that I could use for this summer... So any help or opinion would surely help!
