rust on 740 and 240 original hitch

I am looking at a 740 station wagon with 180 k miles.It is in Montreal. What would be the spots where rust would appear first. Owner says that the car has spent half of its winter in Florida.

I would like to know also if the one piece hitch bar that was supplied by Volvo
for the 240 could fit on this car with or without an adapter or modifications.
